    Weert Canzler is the speaker of the Leibniz Research Alliance on Energy Transitions and one of the conveners of the conference. He is a senior research at WZB Berlin Social Science Center, where he works in projects revolving around energy and transport transitions, active mobility. He is chairing the sessions "Transformation of transportation I: New regulation forms of governing the transport system" and "Transformation of transportation II: The social question of mobility" together with his colleagues Jörg Radtke and Miranda Schreurs.
