Leslie Quitzow
Leslie Quitzow is a research fellow of the research group Science Policy Studies at WZB - Berlin Social Science Center, where she works on smart electricity grids and urban energy transitions. She is the coordinator of the Leibniz Research Alliance "Energy Transitions" and is one of the conveners of the conference.
Aischa Sophie Jansen
Aischa Sophie Jansen is a Master's student at the "Freie Universität Berlin" in the field of Political Communication in the department of Political and Social Science (Institute for Media and Communication Studies). She is a student assistant at WZB - Berlin Social Science Center, where she works for the Leibniz Research Alliance "Energy Transitions" and is part of the organizing team. Prof. Dr. Sonja Peterson
Sonja Peterson is honorary professor at Kiel University and scientific director of IfW - Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Her research interests include international and European climate and energy policy and climate-economy modeling. She is one of the conveners of the conference.

Dr. habil. Weert Canzler
Weert Canzler is the speaker of the Leibniz Research Alliance on Energy Transitions and one of the conveners of the conference. He is a senior research at WZB Berlin Social Science Center, where he works in projects revolving around energy and transport transitions, active mobility. He is chairing the sessions "Transformation of transportation I: New regulation forms of governing the transport system" and "Transformation of transportation II: The social question of mobility" together with his colleagues Jörg Radtke and Miranda Schreurs.
Prof. Dr. Ute Harms
Ute Harms is Head of Department of Biology Education, IPN – Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education and Full Professor of Biology Eduation, Kiel University. She is one of the conveners of the conference and is chairing the session "The role of knowledge transfer and collective action for successful energy transitions" together with her colleague Hanno Michel.
Prof. Dr. Ludger Gailing
Ludger Gailing is professor of regional planning at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. On behalf of the Leibniz Institute for Research on Society and Space, he is one of the conveners of the conference. He is chairing the session "Conceptualizing the future in energy transitions - sociotechnical imaginaries, path creations, assembling the future".
Prof. Dr. Dirk Uhrlandt
Dirk Uhrlandt is professor, scientific board member and division manager for Materials & Energy at INP - Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology, Greifswald. He is one of the conveners of the conference and is chairing the session "high-tech industry for energy futures".
